Trail & XC Racing in BC
Could there be a better place on Earth to find an unpaved path to run on? If you feel the need to find some single track and test yourself on some of the most scenic courses in the world then you need to look no farther than your own backyard. Trail running series events are springing up all over BC and we plan to test them all. So grab your fuel belt, sunscreen, and bear repellent and cowboy up! These bad boys are guaranteed to knock the shine off those new kicks and make you appreciate the stunning backdrop as you grind through the pain!
For our out of province visitors, let us be the first to say "Welcome!" BC is a huge place so we have sectioned our events according to the following regions:
If you are planning a vacation here and wish to take in some races you need to be aware of the travel distances. From our capital city Victoria to the Alberta border will require a 2 hour ferry ride plus 8-10 hours of driving! From our southern to northern border it can take 24 hours. If you have the time, do it! You won't regret it. Also, due to our vast size, we have several climate zones that offer a wide spectrum of outdoor experiences. You are in for a treat!
