BC's Heart of Road Racing

"City folk", he mutters.  "No wonder they run on roads, ain't a patch of green grass for miles!"  Easy there Grandpa Harold...Vancouver has some amazing greenery.  That doesn't mean that VanCity locals don't feel the need to burn up the blacktop!  Besides, they got that good by running from their $900k one bedroom condo to Stanley Park and back.  It's amazing how good at running you can be when you can't afford to drive!  Hey...enough picking on Vannies!  We like to poke fun out of sheer jealousy.  Simple fact is that Vancouver's got it going on!  Consistently voted one of the most livable cities in the world, Vancouver residents are into athletics, outdoor living, and the greatest hockey team to grace planet Earth (go 'nucks!).  It is impossible to resist the urge to go for a run when you have such an amazing backdrop.  Vancouverites are no dummies.  They know how to organize an event and they play host to some of the best that BC has to offer.
