The West West Coast...
Next stop heading west from Vancouver Island is Japan. Roughly the same size as Japan, Vancouver Island is home to some of the most pristine and protected ancient rainforests in the world. Jump on a ferry and head on over for a unique experience. You might even be lucky enough to see a local orca pod swimming along side the big boat! People on the Island worship the outdoors and the trails. In fact, it is here that you will find the famous West Coast Trail. This trail is booked over a year in advance and takes about a week to complete. While you're at it, why not check out some of the local races and see how you do. Navigating these forest floors is a treat for your feet.
